I've actually really enjoyed dwelling in the plant bin.NOW FOR DA FACTS yeah i know your probably like "Wow Niamh great intro" and thank you is how i shall reply. So c'mon my lazy potatoes lets dive deep into the PLANT world!

FIRST FACT
 Plants have genders! Wait what ;-;. yeah not explaining that one...

Petunias absolutely hate me!!! So i was growing petunias in my group and they said 4-10 days for it to sprout or something like that. Anyway it took like 4 weeks until it actually sprouted! (WHYS)

THIRD FACT

(an actually smartish thing) i learned that bees aren't the only ones who pollinate plants!!! This weird geeko thing can do it too!

TERM 4 HIGHLIGHT STUFFF

I'm always quite bad with the highlights so for people who know me this wont be a surprise to you.

wait a minute i forgotten them.. one sec *looks at highlights* oh yeah! Because i did none last term i'm redoing them! OK so most of them I've actually finished apart from my academic one.

One word... math.  To be honest i'm actually not that bad its just i cant work under pressure and im just not that quick.

ohhh everyone who knows me personally should have a pretty good idea of who I'm going to say {insert the Attack on Titan theme song} Hajime Isayama. He wrote and illustrated the "Attack on Titan" manga series witch was turned into the popular series well. "Attack on Titan".(I regret nothing -w-) 

what's the best book you've read this year?

Well I'm kind of stuck between Attack on titan vol 15/14 and at the moment I'm reading "the Time machine" and I'm enjoying that so far.

This is a very interesting article that explains how astronauts have to spend several months in the antarctic, To teach them about isolation in rough conditions.

Olympics:)

Well the Olympics Started this week and I have been watching most of the highlights and recorded most of the equestrian. This may really be on topic but if you haven't heard of Hamilton its a Broadway musical and you should really go and listen to the soundtrack!!!

Anyway into the questions.

Have you watched any sports?
Yes, I've only really watched equestrian but I've watched some of the swimming as well.

What was exciting about it? (equestrian)
Its really exciting watching them go over the jumps in cross country and seeing them gallop.

Did you learn anything about the sport or are you an expert on it?
I'm DEFINITELY NOT an expert on equestrian but i do know the basics. I wouldn't say i learnt anything though.

Who got on the podium?
for the Eventing Individual Cross Country Christopher Burton got first (Australia) Michael Jung got second (Germany) and Astier Nicolas (France)  who came third

Medievalness!!!

Guess who's back? Back again! I didn't have blog post last week because of reasons...(/0-0/
The battle and roleplay was last week and it actually went really well...surprisingly.


Well the roleplay went really well and the building,I think personally i learnt lots personally the group who did diseases and the black death were the best because it was  so interesting!In my group we did a presentation on craftsmen and merchants I think the class listened and actually learnt something I think the activity that we did also went well as we did a quiz and one group won by one point.(And they won a potato)  what we could of done better was at the start Elyse started cracking under the pressure of the powerpoint. (for reasons unknown)
I enjoyed the power-points and activity's from my classmates (thx India for my discovery of tomato soup!)

The moves are easy so far.
I could do better if I put a bit more energy into it but I don't really get into it being the weeb I am.

MEDIEVAL MINECRAFT

Hi! Welcome back to my blog! For about a week now the three intermediate classes have been making their own medieval village. So far I believe that rm12 is probably doing the best in my opinion.(p.s I'm building the castle)Anyway onto the questions..

Is the village "historically accurate"
I believe that yes it is people have created really nice cottages, stables and wells I believe that they look quite accurate.


What part do you like the best?
I love the castle! basically because  built it but I think it looks really cool!


What do I need to work on?
I need to help work on the walls (if there will even be one)


I also need to help finish off the castle.

Dress Making...

So this is about my elective if you don't already know its a activity of your choice and you do it for a couple hours on Friday. This year i chose the WOW (wearable art) elective and im currently having a lot of fun doing it. Apart from have so many scratches from the freaking chicken wire.

How have your first weeks gone?
i think they have gone quite well! I'm on track with the dress and i have a pretty good idea of what i want it to look like.

What have you been learning?
 Lots of measurement stuff...

Is it what you expected?
Yes. Its pretty hectic and everyone has great ideas.

What can you do to make the most of your elective?
I think i can just have lots of fun! Also my dress will look FABULOUS!

Hello readers! SO .. last week we had to make 3D castles out of paper. We had to measure them and make the nets then put them together etc.

How did you work together as team? how were decisions made?
 Well throughout the week we all wanted to "take time out " and do other tasks this lead to a small argument. Decisions were pretty easy to make because we really didn't care most of the time.


What are some of the problems you had? how did you solve them?
As I have said we all wanted to do other tasks but in the end we solved the problem by having times for each one of us to do another task.

Hello Children!

I'm here to tell you about the thing that has been looming in the back of my mind since the start of the term. Cross Country, The very thing almost every child hates and try's to weasel out of. It was my last Cross Country this year and I was DETERMINED (notice that sneaky Undertale reference right there?) to get out of it this year, and I did it! I ended up taking photos for the news letter and helping with placing if there was a tight race.

Anyway onto the questions.

While i was waiting at the finish line while the year 7 girls were running i could see one of the girls in real pain but she kept running so there you go.

HELLO! and a reveiw

Hello my faithful readers!I'm back from the holidays.Today i'm writing a review on the movie "Hunt for the Wilder People"So the movie is basically about a boy named Ricky Baker who has been taken to his new foster home on a farm.Then he gets lost in the bush and the police thought he was kidnapped. That's really all i can say about the movie and not give it away!

I really loved the Humor in this movie and all the wild characters we meet! my favorite character had to be "bushman" he was really funny and slightly insane.


I would have to rate this movie 4 stars out of five because some bits were a bit cringe worthy and sad but was balanced by the humor.Well i loved this movie and i hope you like it too!Thanks for reading!BYE!!!

Learning.....

hello my readers
 this is my second to last blog post before the school ends and term 2 starts. Wow this term has gone really quick hasn't it?


So I have to write about three things I've learned.


So I've learned much more about working in a group and this will help me quite a bit. After camp I came back quite confident.


I learned anew note at camp as well I cant really  remember the name. But we used it to tie the climber   to the person who was holding the rope when we did high ropes.


I also learned while I was at  camp that I should just be myself and don't be someone else to impress someone. If they don't like you for who you are they really are not your friend


These lestons I know won't forget them because they are linked to a really fun memories from camp.

Easter and Undertale

Hello!
I bet you're wondering what did I do for the Easter holiday well there's no one on the other side so hello from the other side of the screen....

to be honest all i did for Easter was dive a mini train play Undertale with Katherine and eat chocolate by myself in the dark 0_0.

so Katherine and i had a sleepover on Monday through to Tuesday. Almost the whole time i was there we huddled near the computer screen and sing along to the Temmie village song and screaming our heads off while we fought omega Flowey. I also got a boyfriend who was a pigeon... its a long story

Oh and did i mention that we also watched the matrix! i absolutely loved it! it was sohow do i say this? mind blowing! especially when trinity flew away withe the explosion behind her! the whole time Katherine and i sang "cool guys don't look at explosions" (soz if you don't understand anything XD)

What did you do to make someone happy?
I mae Katherine happy buy curing her loneliness  

What was their reaction?
She screamed and hugged me...

Back from camp!

Hi everyone I'm back  while camp and I had a fantastic time e! But current as I'm typing listening to tem shop glitch hop remix which is slowly turning my brain to mush... anyway now have to tell you about CAMP. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.well i'm not going to make the mistake from last year were i basically did an essay on my whole week.(you should cheek that out) 

What did i find easy?
well it defiantly wasn't getting out of nice warn sleeping bag in the morning....
(it was soooo warm....) I don't honestly think anything was "easy" most of it was made to challenge you be it emotional or physical.

what did i find the most challenging?
i think we all know the answer to that...



was it what you expected?
actually it was better than expected the instructor were awesome they always asked you if you wanted to do something to be homest everyone who was their were a hell of a lot nicer than i expected when i absolutely balled my eyes out at the sight of a weta.

what was your proudest moment?
when i was ont he high ropes and i absaloutly crushed it when i went upside-down on a massive log a couple of meters off the ground! i'm still surprised that i trusted lawrance with me life! XD they weer all good though.  (no-one died)

your favorite moment?

probably when i first saw the sign to turn into Hillary Outdoors center i was so exited.

welcome back to my blog and by now you've probs realized that I'm slightly insane anyway camp is almost here so I've been asked to tell you what I'm nervous about? I'm not really nervous I'm just worried I'm going to lose stuff and now what I'm exited EVERYTHING! and to make this cap better and the way I can improve it is to SLEEP and to be insane and scream bagels so yea!

So this year unlike last year we are learning Spanish and Mrs Bolger has found a really cool website called duo lingo and yea???? Anyway so i guess most of my readers come from my actual school so most of you know what it is...Well my view is that the app is totally better i mean you get to talk to a freaking Spanish dolphin!!!(I FLIP ALL DA TABLES) I don't really have anything to say so...(gets out task sheet) Okay i have my task sheet so here are the questions it says...i have sound speaking into the speaker hard because it asks you to say things into the speaker thing and it never works so yea! Oh and one other thing about it is that it is totally free and new languages are in production so Japanese isn't there YET! but German,Irish,Dutch and more so you should totally join! So That's all i got for this week.. oh and one warning the app looks like a really creepy owl! XD

10 Minute Noodles?

Tech! you probably thought I was doing cooking considering the title of this post but no I FOOLED YOU!!!!! I'm actually doing Wood Work which is my least favourite one and I was stupid enough to choose to make a battle ship this year so that includes lots of sanding.. lots of cutting and a very annoyed Niamh. At least it will look cool when 'm done....


And the two subjects I'm looking forward to are Sewing and Cooking!!!!!!
I really want to do sewing because a can make a cube pushy!!! eeeeeee!


 I also really want to do cooking because I'm pretty crap at cooking as in the title 2 minute noodles end up being 10 minute noodles XD

Hello children of the world I'm back and you probably didn't care...(I'm so lonely '-')  Anyway talking about year 8..its fun? I guess? Jk I'm having a good time though I haven't been  Yr 8 for more then a week. On the up side I get to use the year 7's as meat shields during dodge ball! Because my reward for finishing my work is getting hit in the stomach with a ball and then flailing on the ground like a snail that cant get back up...... hehehe 0-0

Another thing i want to talk about is my obsession with Undertale!!! Undertale is a game where you play as a character called frisk and yo walk through this wonderful land of lovable characters but be careful each drop of blood will change how the story ends This game also has beautiful original tracks if you like music this is the game for you. Before i watched a game play of it i didn't know what the big deal was about but then! I clicked on the first episode of the game play.. My life was changed....Now i cant stop writing fan-fics and shipping..(my life is so random.....)

On The left is Temmie from Temmie village and on the bottom is Sans he might look scary but hes really lovable and loves Puns and  he talks in comic sans! get it? (this whole game has lots of puns! XD)
