Hello again to my wonderful blog! Today I will be talking about one of my favorite artists. Now before we start I would like to tell you that I don't usually look at art but when I saw some of Anna Stichburys art and I loved it! Its so cute! She is also a New Zealand artist and does t-shirts as well as her canvas paintings. I Love her art because its really modern and edgy.It makes a room look cute and as I have said modern and can brighten up a room up in a matter of minutes.

I really love her work and I would love to do her style of art if I ever became a artist.

Now I have to choose two of her paintings to tell you what I like about them so I have chosen this Tui with a crown and a bunny with a fly on its nose. The reasons why I like both of these is that I love the colour blue and of course both of these are blue also I think that that bunny is so cute and it makes me smile for some odd reason! I like the Tui because I love the sound Tui's make and the crown makes it look like the King/Queen of NZ's forests that's at least what I thought it meant.

Sports Fest

Hello....
Today I'm going to talk about the Wellington regional schools sports fest. This is were at the start of the year all of the kids taking part in this event sign up for two sports your first and second choice naturally most of the kids got into there first choice. And I chose netball because a actually play the game in our school team.


we versed five teams and won once....... by default because the opponent decided to not show up!  
most of the teams we versed were quite mean and not fun to play with and literally were twice the size of me!


But one of the teams we faced were really good! and so so nice! they cheered us on all the way! and were just simply nice!

The Flag

Hello and welcome to my blog.
Today I am going to talk about the flag! The government wants to change the New Zealand flag!


Personally I don't want to change the flag and that this whole thing is a waste of 26 million dollars, we have so many other problems we could use that money on.

What four flags  would you pick?
 If I had to narrow the top forty flag designs down to four they would have to be

#1 This flag is called Black Jack the reason why this is at the top of my top four list is
it is quite similar to our current flag but has a Maori design of the union jack and it has kept the southern cross which is one of our more known symbols. It is also quite pretty and that this will appeal to both Maori and Foreigners.


#2 This is called the Tukutuku I'm not sure what this means but I do quite like this design.
Its quite modern and edgy. I'am not sure what else to say about this though.Tell me your opinion in the comments!

 


#3 This is called the black and white fern and the name speaks the truth this shows New Zealand quite well. In my opinion the fern is another one of our national symbols. But this is more traditional and less modern so I don't know how this will go down with the people.

#4 last but not least is this flag called Land Of The Long White Cloud. I love the colour scheme of this flag its so soft but its more like a flag for a wild life reserve than for a country.

Art...

I LOVE art its so fun and you can be free and do what ever you like! You can express yourself in so many different ways. I personally love drawing cats in many different ways and styles and I also really like water colours.

We are doing space for the exhibition 
My idea would be covering the walls in the room with the cosmos wormholes stars and the beautiful colours of the galaxy and we could add all the Zodiac signs like Leo or Scorpio and all the rest!!!

I would love to get better at more realistic drawing.
